Mission Assurance Manager 3- Annapolis Junction, MD

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 3 to be based out of our Annapolis Junction, MD location. Position may provide relocation assistance. 25% of travel required.

The Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions Division (CIMS) division is seeking an experienced, hands-on manager to lead a mission assurance organization, directly support programs, and manage the CIMS MA infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Act as primary MA interface for a business unit VP and senior leadership team and provide line leadership for MA personnel to enable high performing program execution.

Responsible for executing the sector Quality Management System and Program Execution Framework

Evaluate QMS/PEF effectiveness

Ensure execution of core Programs, MA, and Engineering processes consistent with industry capability maturity models and QMS standards (e.g. CMMI-DEV, ISO 9001, and AS9100).

Execute planning and budgeting activities

Conduct program reviews

Support the business acquisition process, and hands-on support to corrective and preventive action resolution.

Responsible for defining, implementing, training, and maintaining an effective division/multi-site QMS

Maintain division/multi-site QMS media assets.

Manage the division Corrective and Preventive Action System and Corrective and Preventive Action Review Board

Manage analysis of CPAS and other data across programs for QMS effectiveness, trends, emerging issues, and improvement opportunities

Administer the CPAS database and other infrastructure assets

Managing CIMS supplier MA including Sentinel alerts and supplier assessments.

MAQEA

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.

10-15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering, and/or Program Management experience.

5 years of proven leadership experience with a take-charge attitude.

Ability to influence others at all levels and demonstrated leadership skills

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Track record in leading and driving change into an organization with successful, quantified business results.

Ability to establish strong, collaborative, working relationships with operating unit leaders and customer quality representatives

Track record of strongly support teamwork with business units' programs

NGMS QMS and PEF familiarity

ISO 9001/AS9100 lead auditor

Six Sigma experience

Planning and budgeting experience

Active TS/SCI w/ poly
