Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration, planning, scheduling, communications, problem resolution, deliverables, technical performance, and operations of the LRS defined in the LRS Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Serves as Northrop Grumman primary point of contact to the customer team lead. Interacts with client to understand project requirements, timelines, resources available, and operational processes.
  • Manages LRS operations and deliverables. Ensures adherence to schedules, deadlines, and products. Escalates matters of significance as appropriate.
  • Manages multiple small projects simultaneously.
  • Tracks and monitors project objectives in a very dynamic business environment.
  • Collaborates with other project managers to support inter-project dependencies, resource allocation, releases planning, technology and architecture to meet business needs.
  • Responsible for project planning, coordination, and monitoring of the budget to ensure delivery within the constraints of the contract.
  • Responsible for tracking the progress of project requirements and provides reports/updates to appropriate management and committees.
  • Serves as point of contact for team members to escalate, coordinate, and resolve issues.
  • Provides status and monthly reports regarding LRS operations and summary of project deliverables.
  • Leads team meetings and maintains strong, positive interoffice and client relations. Represents team in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field preferred with a minimum of6 years of experience.
  • 3 years of leading a team to deliver results.
  • 2 years of demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle, project management, planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, coordinating, and directing all aspects of a project from inception through completion.
  • 2 years of demonstrated project management and customer focus experience.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing events and competing priorities.
  • Capable of translating and presenting complex technical and project management concepts to management and customers, through presentations and other written formats.
  • Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing ITIL operational processes
  • PMP Certification
