Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Mgr Systems Engineering 3, Ground Terminal System IPT Lead based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
What you'll get to do:
We are looking for a Systems Engineering (SE) manager with strong management and communications skills to lead a hybrid group of > 60 sub-contractors and internal team members. The SE manager will be performing against a highly compressed simultaneous integration and installation schedule at multiple worldwide locations.
Knowledge in the following areas would be beneficial:
- IMS management
- Earned Value Management
- Sub-contractor management
- SEIT best practices
- Export licensing
- Host site negotiations
- Site implementation plan development
- Construction of antenna site (civil works)
- Large aperture full motion antenna systems
- Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tailoring
- Worldwide logistics support
- Software defined radios
- Familiarity with RF test equipment
- Sub-contractor factory acceptance test

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- At least 14 years of related experience with Bachelor's degree ; 12 years of related experience with Master's degree; 9 years of related experience with PhD.
- Active SCI access or active DOD Top Secret/SSBI with the ability to obtain SCI access.
- Ability to travel 50% to international and domestic sites.
- Degree(s) in STEM discipline.
- Active SAP clearance.
- Knowledge of communication theory and experience with antenna systems.
- Experience with ITAR and international agreements.
