Mgr Systems Administration 2

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Mgr Systems Administration for our Schriever Air Force Base, CO location.

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in a technical discipline,4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree and a minimum of 9

years' related experience in system administration.

  • Must be experienced in all aspects of the engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing.
  • Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development,

implementation and monitoring.

  • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and an active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline.
