Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is looking for aManager Supply Chain Programs 2 for the F/A-18 Production Programs within Global Supply Chain (GSC) located in El Segundo, CA. The Manager of Supply Chain Programs 2 is Responsible and accountable for the Production Execution and Integration of the F/A-18 Global Supply Chain Team. Leads supply chain program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, affordability projects, forecasting, proposal management, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, obsolescence and supply chain issue resolution. Coordinates amongst cross-functional teams to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to the supply chain. Manages all elements of program proposal plans to have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Monitors and controls program metrics and respective deliverables. Briefs Supply Chain & Program Executive Management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance

  • Develops, integrates, and provides visibility to Global Supply Chain Production objectives and plans.
  • Develops and facilitates appropriate customer interfaces to support Global Supply Chain and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensures the Global Supply Chain team structure is consistent with and supports the overall program structure.
  • Implements the Risk Management process for the Global Supply Chain Team.
  • Provides planning and integration for the proposal process within Global Supply Chain.
  • Responsibility as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all GSC Production contracts (discrete labor and material dollars)
  • Responsible for and directs all phases of the GSC proposal, performance and execution processes from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
  • Ability to leads team composed of technical, quality, financial / cost and supplier management personnel.
  • Collaborates across all GSC functions to ensure cohesiveness and Team goals are achieved

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate Degree
  • Aerospace Supply Chain Experience
