Northrop is looking for a Program Global Supply Chain Manager that is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs and effectively staffing/training the Supply Chain Team. Leads the GSC Team which is the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain organization, coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Leads the supply chain teamin support of Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

Responsibilities include:
* Develops, integrates, and provides visibility to Global Supply Chain Programobjectives and plans.
* Ensures the Global Supply Chain team structure/knowledge is consistent with and supports the overall program structure.
* Leads GSC team in support of all Program proposals.
* Responsibility as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all GSC contracts (labor and material dollars)
* Responsible for and directs all phases of Program launch, performance and execution processes included but not limited to initiation of the business case for make/buy decisions, requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
* Ability to leads team composed of technical, quality, financial / cost and supplier management personnel.
* Collaborates across all GSC functions to ensure cohesiveness and Team goals are achieved

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • US Citizenship and secret government security clearance to start and to be considered
  • Minimum of7 years experience demonstrated success/problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering or program management
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Demonstrated leadership success and ability to influence direct reports, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills
  • 3+ Year of experience in management and/or team lead

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in managing supply chain on development and production programs
  • Work with Engineering in development of program structure
  • Knowledge of ISE/CADSTAR/SAP to enhance ability to resolve problems with the program structure/shop order/manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR and FAR/DFARS
  • SAP access
