Manager of Programs 2 IRCM Product Line Manager

Description:
The Product Line Manager will report to the Director, IRCM Product Line Management and work within the Production Operating Unit of the Aircraft Survivability Business Unit. The Product Line Manager will be responsible for execution of all Missile Warning Sensor production and product line support efforts. The Product Line Manager will ensure products in the portfolio are available to satisfy requirements from multiple programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of product availability in line with cost, schedule and quality constraints. Owns the products in the portfolio
  • Communication of product status and look-ahead regularly to all stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Coordination of product supply, demand profiles, and product business plans with Program Managers & Directors
  • Strategic decision making regarding buy / build / partner plans in accordance with product roadmaps and in coordination with Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Development of product line roadmaps in coordination with Program Managers, Business Development and technologists.
  • Act as product focal point for programs, leading product review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, quality and technical performance.
  • Establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies product execution problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources, modifying requirements or re-evaluating suppliers.
  • Managing work across the portfolio from technical, manufacturing, supply chain, mission assurance, business management, and other areas of the programs.
  • Statement of Work (SOW) creation
  • Knowledge and execution of a variety of proposal and contract types (FFP, CPFF, IWO, T&M, etc.)
  • Development and delivery of presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders
  • Preparation of metrics and internal progress reports for management (IPRS, Dashboard, BUR, etc.)
  • Leading and directing a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Management of personnel, company resources, and other assets in support of program execution
  • Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and tools
  • Government Property (GFE, CFE, etc.) tracking and management
  • Other miscellaneous tasks and objectives as directed by the Director, IRCM Product Line Management

.Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree and minimum of7 years' experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Government contracts.
  2. Demonstrated success in managing projects to cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements.
  3. Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.
  4. Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  5. U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience developing or supporting Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) products and technologies
  2. Prior Program Management experience, or experience in Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
  3. Prior experience with execution of large, multi-year contracts and programs
  4. Prior experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and MS Project
  5. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  6. Master's Degree
