Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented individual to lead the Antenna and Test Operations department in Sunnyvale, CA, with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:
- Provide functional management & program support to Mechanical Test Operations teams
- Lead a group of 15 employees, which include Mechanical Technicians and Test Conductors
- Responsibilities include timecard approval, employee performance evaluations, facilitating employee growth, special assignments in support of the functional home room
- Oversee mechanical assembly, integration and test support
- Partner with project management and functional management to define and implement a crew sharing approach that satisfies the staffing needs between programs
- Build a test operations culture that empowers employees, establishes personal and team accountability, motivates team performance, inspires development, and supports innovation
- Ensure personnel and hardware safety, driving compliance with policies and procedures including security, property management, calibration, training, configuration control, and test conduct.
This position is located at our customer facility in Sunnyvale, CA, with occasional travel required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math with 5 years applicable experience
- Experience with space mechanical subsystem, system assembly, integration and test
- Understanding of mechanical execution, health and safety processes and procedures
- Active DOD Secret clearance required to start
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Technical Management
- Background in Mechanical Test Operations and familiarity with mechanical assembly and integration, environmental testing, and electrical integration and testing
- Demonstrated ability to deliver hardware on time with high customer satisfaction
- Prior project and functional management experience. Familiarity with AEHF product and their customers
- Active SCI/SSBI clearance
