We are looking for a manager that manages the facilities engineering team responsible for planning,designing and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 years of facilities experience
  • Bachelor of sciencedegree in civil, structural, electrical,architecturaland/or mechanical engineering with broad understanding of facilities project engineering,building and infrastructuredesign and construction.
  • Experience in facilities management and oversight of multiple, simultaneous facilities projects.
  • Experience managing facilities projects budgets and schedules
  • Knowledge of constructionmanagement
  • Experiencefacilitating teams
  • Experience indeveloping and reviewingproject statements of work and coordinating with stakeholders and architectural-engineering firms
  • Able to obtain and maintain asecret clearance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current top secret clearance
  • Aerospace industry facilities management experience
  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) and/or licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or licensed Architect
  • Familiar working with local municipalities on facilities permits and related building codes/regulations
  • Familiar working with complex facilities infrastructure feeding clean rooms/labs, offices, and manufacturing space
