Mgr Facilities Engineering 3

Northrop Grumman is looking for a Manager of Facilities Engineering that leads the Facilities Reliability and Infrastructure Optimization team in the development of plans, designs and reliability assessments relative to thereconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment or infrastructure specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules with a focus on infrastructure reliability and maintenance optimization. Prepares briefings and assessments to support facility incident investigations, energy management initiatives, and critical infrastructure equipment repair and replacement.Oversees the execution of projects assigned to the engineering team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with an emphasis on facilities infrastructure and building systems.
  • Minimum7 yearsfacilities engineering management experience
  • Able to obtain and maintain an SSBIclearance
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiar with Maximo maintenance management system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current SSBI clearance
  • Licensed P.E.
  • Extensive knowledge of reliability engineering and best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Maximo maintenance management system
  • Knowledgeof fire and security alarms and systems and remote monitoring
  • Knowledge of energy managementsystems and applications such as Johnson Controls Metasys PMI and Extended Architecture, Tridium AX and N4 platforms, and Schneider Electric TAC systems.
  • Knowledge ofelectrical systems and high-voltage electricity/substations
  • Knowledge of constructionmanagement
  • Extensive experience managing a team
  • Strong Utility Plant, HVAC, and mechanical systems background in the Areospace Systems industry preferred
  • Familiar withBuilding Automation Systems (BAS) includingBACnet, LonWorks and N2 integration
