Serve as a Facility Manager for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) facilities reporting directly to South West Regional Real Estate and Facility Manager. General responsibilities include the overall operation and administration of assigned regional facilities ensuring consistent compliance with appropriate facility policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include:

Budget preparation and monthly tracking of expenditures for Rancho Carmel
Supporting the sector/corporate strategic planning process to include provision of required data for development of the sector AOP, LRSP and Capital Plan
Monthly metrics reporting for the Rancho Carmel site
Weekly status reporting on operations
Responding to Corporate/Sector data calls as required
Supporting acquisition of new real estate assets as required
Interfacing with local management concerning occupancy issues and space requirements
Assuming a proactive role in the planning/management of space to include: implementation of sector space utilization policies, collaboration with other managers and peers at other sectors on shared utilization of facilities, supporting RE transaction management in the acquisition/disposition of space and provision of data to support sector/corporate metric development and space utilization reporting.
Plan, develop and implement facility upgrades and improvements, recommending specifications and scheduling contractor support.
Review site work to verify compliance in accordance with applicable plans, procedures and governing codes.
Develop construction and maintenance cost estimates, budget requirements, and project status reports.
Oversee the performance of operating and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and alarm systems within the organization's facilities.

The Site Facility Manager as assigned to include responsibility for the day-to-day operation of specific building or campus. Specific responsibilities include:
Manage a diverse staff performing a myriad of functions including space planning, personnel and asset management, facility maintenance, etc.
Supervise and coordinate various in-house operations (e.g., mail room, copy center, etc.).
Coordinate all facility maintenance activities to include hands on supervision of multiple vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, etc.).
Interface with site program/project management concerning space needs for both personnel and programs (i.e., labs, production areas, etc.).
Plan and supervise building modifications including major capital Leasehold Improvement (LHI) projects.
Maintain/revise facility documentation including the site Business Resumption Plan, site reference guides, space plans and maps.

Basic Qualifications:

HS degree and Ten years' experience in facilities.

Working knowledge of building mechanical/electrical systems.

Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook).

Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

LEED Certification a plus.

BA/BS Degree or equivalent in experience.

MBA a plus.
