Mgr Engineering 2

Responsible for the management of an operations organization. Leads a diverse team of operations and maintenance teams and actively assists or provides direction to the organization through daily interaction with managers that represent

maintenance, site management, training and contractor logistics support.

Responsibilities include direct management of 4 managers who are responsible for training, training courseware sustainment, system operations, maintenance management and oversight of major subcontractors and IWO’s. Is the

operational focal point for the customer and will provide regular status to the program manager/program office through an established program rhythm. Also provides leadership and direction to a technical engineering team to ensure all product deliverables are delivered on time.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Engineering, Math or technical field and 14 years of related experience in operational planning and/or logistics support. Will have at least 5 years of experience managing organizations with over 20 individuals as well as multi-million dollar budgets. Minimum 10 years of experience managing highly technical projects that delivered critical/complex hardware and/or capability to customers. Must have a current and active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Top secret clearance is preferred. Prior military experience highly desirable. Experience in the military leading tactical and operational teams with increasing levels of responsibility, including recent (past 5 years) manned/unmanned system leadership and/or combat experience.
