Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Palmdale SIT&E, Ground Test Engineering and Operations Department is seeking a Ground Operations Manager for the B-2 program. You will lead a group of 28 personnel comprised of Manager, Engineers, Admin Support Personnel, and Flight Test Technicians supporting program test article activities. In this role, you'll lead all ground operations aspects of the program to achieve successful execution of all aircraft modifications and test operations. This position reports functionally to the Ground Test Engineering and Operations Department Manager and programmatically to the B-2 Flight Test Manager, and will assist with various elements of the organization. In this role, you will:
- Ensure deployment and execution of standard processes and procedures throughout the organization.
- You'll work to make certain the aircraft are maintained in accordance with Northrop Grumman processes and are ready for testing to support a dynamic test schedule.
- You will partner with program leadership to assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and program cost/schedule objectives as well as develop and maintain metrics for monitoring the team's progress.
- You'll build excellent relations with multiple US government agencies, including maintenance, quality, and flight operations.
- You'll be responsible for handling cost accounts associated with assigned statement of work, and support new business proposals, process initiatives and employee development. Additionally, you'll configure control of all assets and maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure the program Statement of Work is met and all security requirements are met.
You Should Possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional people management skills to lead a large diverse team. You'll also lead several tasks/projects at a time.
- Demonstrate initiative and willingness to solve problems with long-term solutions.
- Successfully collaborate at all levels of functional and program management while integrating with host entities.
- Experience in implementing process changes and project management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance with PAR. SITEAS
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- At least 5 years ofaerospace experience.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance with an investigation in the last 6 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience in the developmental flight test maintenance environment

- Previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
