Mgr Cyber Systems Admin 2

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Cyber System Administration to join our leadership team. This is a dual-role manager position including supervisory responsibilities of a team of Cyber System Administrators as well as functional responsibility for the operation of 24/5 customer facing service desk, including both Cyber System and Network Administrators.

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Interacts with customer representatives and end-users to troubleshoot, report status on, and resolve problems.
Responsible for daily operations of a team of 8-10 Cyber System Administrators (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
Responsible for staffing (both system and network administrators) and scheduling coverage for a 24x5 customer facing service desk, with phone support on week-ends.
Makes recommendations to engineering staff regarding system performance and trends.
Coordinates installation and provides backup recovery of all systems.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Basic Qualifications: Active TS/SCI, with CI Poly
10 Years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 8 Years with Masters; 4 years of direct experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Experience administering systems in a VMware infrastructure, including Network Attached Storage (NAS) clusters, *NIX operating systems (Solaris, Linux), Windows Servers, and MacOS clients.
DoD 8570.01-Manual, IAT Level II Baseline Certification (Security+ Continuing Education (CE), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP))

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing scripts (Bash, Powershell, Python) to automate routine tasks
Vulnerability assessment experience using Nessus Vulnerability Scanner
Previous experience utilizing Secure Configuration Guidance such as DISA STIG's
Experience supporting developer operations using Agile or SCRUM framework, particularly using the Atlassian development suite. (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence)
Recent military experience or familiarity with DOD
