Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Business Manager to support the Global Operations Business Management organization in Palmdale, CA. The Business Manager will be responsible for EVMS Labor Planning, Financial Planning/Discretionary Investments (Capital, Non-Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) and Indirect/Overhead budgets) and Supporting Manufacturing Cost Estimating for a restricted Program Production IPT. The Business Manager will lead a matrix organization consisting of EVMS Labor Planners, Budget Analysts, and Production Estimating Analysts as well as Business Management and Global Operations leadership to support the IPT. The Business Manager will provide leadership to the team in coordinating and developing estimate at complete (EAC), analyzing risks, pressures, and opportunities, reviewing direct labor rate performance, tracking discretionary investments, and working special projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee daily business management operations for Production IPT
  • Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved
  • Provide guidance and leadership for all functions of program control, scheduling, pricing, and production estimating
  • Performing cost and schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program costs and scheduling risks

ASMGMT
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum5 years combined experience with a Bachelor™s Degree or Minimum
3 Years of experience with a Master™s degree in any of the following: Business Management, Cost Management, Industrial Engineering, or Financial Planning *
Minimum 1 year experience as a manager, supervisor or, lead analyst
A ctive DoD Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance with full investigation within the last six years

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in factory operations, business management, or a production environment *
Experienced in performing Earned Value reviews, bottoms up EAC, risks/opportunity/pressure analysis
Experienced in developing AOP/LRSP
Experience presenting to Senior management (Director level and above)
Experience with Aircraft Production Programs
Experience with manufacturing estimating theory and industrial engineering (improvement curve theory, disruption analysis, and crew cycling)
* Special Program Access / SAP / Clearance
