Northrop Grumman Technology Services group in San Bernardino, CA is hiring a Mechanical Designer. This role may have the following duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical/aerospace products for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, missiles, ground vehicles and associated ground and test equipment. Applicant will apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications. Primary focus will be on ICBM's and ground support equipment. Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, design of components/systems, and preliminary/sizing analysis for both stress and dynamic analysis of aerospace structures. Position requires preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, design documents (drawings and specifications) and interface with customers.

Basic Qualifications:
* US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance (or higher)
* 2+ years of related experience with B.S. Degree in Engineering.
* Coursework completed in mechanical and/or aerospace design.
* Experience usingNX, ProEngineer, Catia or other CAD software, for both solid model creation and 2D drawing and/or 3D Model-Based Definition creation.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Active Secret Security clearance (or higher)
* Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
* Experience using NX CAD and TeamCenter PLM software.
* Familiarity with ICBM and/or Space Craft systems and support equipment.
* Subsystem design experience, including, but not limited to, hydraulic, thermal, power distribution and mechanisms.
