The Inertial Products Manufacturing team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Materials Processes Technician 2 based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on glass or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Work with adhesives, chemical cleaners, and other chemicals commonly used in manufacturing.
• Work from verbal and written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations.
• Perform alignment, assembly and bonding of small glass and optical components.
• Understand quality specifications and perform quality checks on own work.
• Perform cleaning on various precision glass components.
• Evaluate new processes, components, products, and systems in conformance with engineering specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Conduct experiments and tests involving wafer, electromechanical, and optical components within fabrication or processing laboratories.
• May be required to ensure correct functioning and identify any discrepancies.
