Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst 4 - Clearance Required

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA and the qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Autonomous Systems Master planning and scheduling department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary duty is to prepare, develop and coordinate updates and changes to the integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
  • Maintains rigorous cost-schedule integration and validates EVM through status reports
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
  • The prime candidate will also be able to work in a high paced environment and produce analysis in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 years’ experience in Program Planning and Scheduling/Project Management (6 years with Master’s Degree)
  • 8 years’ expert experience using MS Project or similar scheduling application software
  • 6 years of recent EVMS experience
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment modeling software using Monte Carlo simulation
  • Experience with Integrated Baseline Review (IBR)
  • MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with IPMR (Integrated Program Management Report)
  • Experience with DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)
