Manager Security 3

This security management position will serve as a San Diego Campus Security Manager with responsibility to manage the security programs and security staff at one of the locations in the San Diego area. Position requires expertise in all disciplines of the industrial security field, to include SAP and SCI. This position will be required to interface with all levels of sector, division and government management personnel, and maintain the skill necessary to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance. In addition, the position is responsible to provide security oversight and guidance to program international pursuits.

This position will report directly to the Communications Division Security Manager and is required to be able to collaborate effectively with his/her peers within the other divisions, as well as the sector staff.

In addition to expertise in all disciplines of the security field, the successful candidate will possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial, and management skills, knowledge, and abilities to ensure maximum effectiveness. Interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel.

Expectation of a confident demeanor and able to make critical security decisions for dynamic business units that support high value contracts. Be able to drive constructive change within the organization.

MSSEC

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years Industrial Security experience and Bachelor degree, or 12 years Industrial Security experience and Associates degree.

5+ years managerial experience in a mid-size to large size organization.

Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Ability to travel 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, and corresponding Industrial Security and management experience.
