Manager Programs 3 - Triton Sustainment

This leadership role will be based at our Rancho Bernardo, CA office. The position will also require travel as required by the program.
The manager will lead several spares, repairs and reoccurring engineering (RE) contracts in the Triton Sustainment portfolio. This leadership role will have the responsibility of managing the cost, schedule and performance of a segment of overall portfolio efforts. This position may also be responsible for proposal, baselining, development, and sustainment efforts to support program needs.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:

Management of program cost, schedule, performance, quality, and suppliers
Ensuring all contractual technical requirements are met
Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
Responsible for ensuring program and procedural requirements are met in a timely and profitable manner, and within client satisfaction goals and objectives
Build a collective understanding of program risks, issues, and opportunities and shapes collaborative solutions to maximize the performance of the organization
Provide leadership, management, guidance and oversight for matrixed personnel
Participate in negotiating contracts and contract changes
Prepare and deliver presentations at program reviews with both internal and external customers
Maintain excellent communication skills while flowing information both up and out to leadership and down and into the program
Develop metrics for monitoring the health of project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Senior IPT Leadership, Sub IPT Leads and Functional Homerooms
Lead teams in execution of the program by providing clear assignments and direction, maintaining close communication, and getting the team the support needed to succeed
Resolves issues in accordance with business objectives, strategies, legal requirements, regulations, contract terms, and company policies
Provide strategic vision for future program direction and growth

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
At least 3 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule and at or under cost and/or leading an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in continuous evaluation)
Contractual experience with US Navy, NAVSUP and DLA customers
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance level
Willing and able to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications

Current contract and program management experience ($10M+/year)
At least 2 years of experience leading and managing Spares and Repairs contracts
Prior experience supporting sustainment and Product Support efforts aligned with program management
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments, while maintaining consistently high customer relations, service and engagement
Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong internal/external customer relationships
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance
The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts
The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities

Salary Range: $187,000.00 - $280,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
