Northrop Grumman Aerospace System is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager Level 3.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading an Integrated Product Team (IPT). This statement of work includes being the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all of the IPT program SOW which includes the supplier's engineering design, manufacturing process, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. The chosen candidate will also be involved in the designs and layout of tooling and equipment at both supplier facilities and internal company statement of work to ensure most efficient and productive layout. May assist in the design requirements flow down, adapting machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May assist in the development of Global Operations processes and provide guidance to supplier regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Will identify and track all risks associated with supplier design and manufacturing and ensure proper mitigation plans are in place. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and that all parts and assemblies provided by the supplier meet cost, schedule and quality requirements.
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 10 years of broad Aerospace Experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance must be held and maintained. (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Ability to travel to offsite locations to perform analysis and provide detailed results and recommendations
- Experience with supplier operations relative to design & manufacturing
- Experience with program management
- Ability to develop detailed shop floor layouts and manufacturing sequence plans
- Experience with facility standups for SAP program
- Current SAP clearance
