Manager, ICBM IPT Launch

Northrop Grumman Technology services is hiringthe Lead for the ICBM Launch System (LS) Sub-IPT, reporting to the Command & Launch IPT Director. This role will provide program management of the LS, including overall management of 5 cost accounts / CAMS, and subcontractor efforts. This role is responsible for the overall program execution for the LS IPT, managing the EVMS-controlled program activities, as well as directing associated NCTA efforts. It will also oversee thetechnical leadership of the LS IPT, interfacing with the other IPTs, supporting program milestones and technical products.

Other duties may include:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept development and design.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

TSICBM
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degreein Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experiencewith formalearned value management system reporting
  • US Citizen holding an Active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance is preferred
  • 5+ years hands-on weapon system experience in the areas of maintenance, operation, command and control, and ground systems/facilities
  • 5+ years experience with / knowledge of the Minuteman III ICBM weapon system
  • 2+ years project management experience with formal earned value management system reporting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and good analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with ICBM drawings and specifications is a plus
