Manager F-35 EODAS Sustainment & Repair Program 2

The selected candidate will be physically located in Rolling Meadows and responsible for managing and executing F-35 EODAS Sustainment & Repair programs.

Specific duties include the leadership of all repair activities, planning, and customer interaction; leadership of all program related events and reviews; financial and programmatic responsibility for all sustainment programs; strategy development and continuous improvement for future sustainment activities.

Candidate will support reporting requirements at the business level Manages all phases of programs from inception through completion and including the cost, schedule and technical performance for all activities on the programs. Responsible for establishing strong relationships and maintaining open and regular communications with customer. Leads the preparation of proposals, negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Coordinates sustainment business strategy, proposal work statements, operating budgets and contract terms with all functional organizations and suppliers involved in sustainment. Acts as the primary point of contact for program activities to the customer. Establishes staffing plan for programs, performance milestones, monitors and manages adherence to contract schedules and earned value plans, where necessary, identifies program problems and drives solutions. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from various functional areas. Position will require occasional domestic and international travel.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors' Degree in related field

Minimum of 8 years of related work experience

Experience in operations, industrial, manufacturing, or test engineering

Experience leading high performance teams

Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Clearance or Higher

Experience with repair execution
