Sonoma Photonics has an opening for an Engineering/Quality Manager 2 to join our organization of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Santa Rosa, CA.

The Engineering/Quality manager position is the key technical focal point for all technology driven activities at Sonoma. This position exerts influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally results in critical delays and modifications to projects or operations; cause substantial expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds; jeopardize future business activity. This position will also encompass the responsibilities of Quality Manager, accountable for developing, applying and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

Program Manager responsibilities include: planning, risk management, and project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality, and full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contracts. Supervisory or management responsibilities for projects engaged in research and/or product development in more than one engineering discipline.
