Northrop Grumman is looking for an IT Manager to oversee our Azusa and Sunnyvale, California locations. This key leader will be responsible for:

  • Managing technical activities between IT functional groups and key classified tower stakeholders;
  • Effectively interacting with other members of the classified tower leadership team to optimize strategies in support of customer’s goals and objectives;
  • Managing technical efforts related to strategic positioning of the working group with Enterprise Service and Sector partners;
  • Overseeing tasks specifically addressing technical performance and quality of the statement of work;
  • Execution of departmental and corporate procedures;
  • Managing a staff of 10 people located throughout California.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Information Technology management and/or lead role;
  • Extensive and broad background managing IT Infrastructure, service delivery and enterprise business applications or projects;
  • Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills;
  • Proven record of providing strategic direction of IT products, processes, applications and technology;
  • Proven experience managing IT related projects, budgets and meeting schedule commitments;
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with courage to challenge the status quo while providing innovative solutions that create strategic value and discriminators for our customers;
  • Experience working technical activities in a classified environment;
  • Proven track record of building teams and creating and inclusive culture in a geographically diverse environment;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience of Classified Information Systems Security functions related to Classified computing environments;
  • Work experience with UNIX / LINUX systems;
  • Work experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and server platforms;
  • General understanding of network topology and operations;
  • Successful management of geographically diverse technical groups servicing multiple customers;
  • Secret clearance – Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance
