Roles and Responsibilities:
?Understand the software development life cycle, and familiarity with an information engineering approach to development.
?Familiar with all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
?Design, develop and support Mainframe Technologies.
?Perform database design, updates, queries, and generate reports.
?Develop and test applications and integration of functionality as needed to ensure compliance with standards.
?Ensure secure coding practices are adhered to in all phases of the secure development lifecycle.

PSPRI

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
4 years programming experience in mainframe technologies and large scale critical systems.
Experience using industry-standard COTS tools (MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Programming analysis and support in an IBM CICS ADABAS environment using COBOL or Natural programming languages on an MVS/zOS platform.
Understanding and experience with change management and quality assurance procedures in system development, maintenance, and transition activities.
Experience with database management systems, data dictionaries, data synchronization and conversion methodologies and procedures (for ADABAS, Oracle, and/or MS SQL).
Understanding of systems design and development processes.
Understanding of all aspects of the SDLC.
Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with and knowledge of human services programs, Eligibility/Benefits Programs, specifically Child Support Enforcement
Client Interface - experience interfacing with customer and collaborating to clarify requirements and design
Experience performing analysis for complex business problems and participating in innovative solution development
Ability to assist in writing design and technical specifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum
Experience with mainframe/web interfaces
