Logistics Planner 2 - Provisioning Analyst

Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Reviews site survey results and letters of offer and acceptance and formulates specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories. May originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel. May forecast and manage budget system.Basic Qualifications:

Applicants should have an understanding of the aviation maintenance process with proficiency in the aircraft systems of a modern military aircraft, a minimum of 3 years experience with Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics; or 7 additional years of aircraft maintenance experience in lieu of a degree. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Candidate must be able to read technical drawings. Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a minimum Secret Security Clearance. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a qualified mechanic, technician, weapons, or operator in a technical field such as aircraft, ship, missile, or space systems highly desired. Experience using EAGLE, SLIC-WAVE, or MIL-STD 1388/GIA-0007 tools on US government/DoD acquisition programs is desirable. Intermediate experience with MicroSoft Office Excel to include building Macros using VBA.
