The Logistics Management Analyst 3candidate shall support the customer at FRCSW (Fleet Repair Center South West) San Diego (North Island NAS), and possess the following experience to support OOR (Out of Reporting) aircraft repair assistance.

The candidate must be able to relocate for short term assignment. The candidate will be the primary point of contact between DLA (Defense Logistics Agency), NAVSUP (Naval Supply Systems Command), and the OEM (F/A-18 Post Production Programs) to support rapid manufacturing efforts. Should be familiar with F/A-18 engineering drawings and aircraft configuration to assist FRC E&E (Examiners and Evaluators), and P&E (Planners and Estimators). Aid U.S. Navy to determine parts and parts configuration requirements to improve and develop Bill of Materials. Determine parts requirements for legacy aircraft by reviewing EO's (Engineering Orders), ECN's (Engineering Change Orders), and ECPs (Engineering Change Proposals) as required to provide for technical data updates.
The candidate should be able to provide recommendations for additional efficiencies and leverage OEM experience and qualifications, and act as the conduit for logistics engineering FST (Fleet Support Team). The candidate must be able to travel to support Material Summits and ILSMT (Integrated Logistics Support Management Team) meetings. Must have good communication and personal skills, and be able to work independently with minimal direction. This candidate will report directly to F/A-18 Fleet Support Engineering Manager and will be supported directly from El Segundo, California.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in Logistics Management or Logistics Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the F/A-18 A-G or Legacy A-D aircraft at a minimum, and familiarity of NGC work share and assembly processes.
- SAP proficiency
