Logistics Management Analyst 1 (Active Secret, Palmdale, CA)

Candidate will perform as part of a diverse team responsible for B-2 Maintainability & Supportability Analysis efforts on Modernization and Sustainment programs. Candidate must have some understanding of how Military Aviation, Aircraft Manufacturing, or Aircraft Overhaul types of work are performed. Candidate must be familiar with how processes are executed using technical data, engineering blueprints; or having technically been trained on aviation maintenance or production procedures. Candidate will have some knowledge of aircraft components and systems and be able to participate in developing or improving process execution as part of a larger team. Candidate must have the aptitude to learn the Sustainment phases and requirements of the weapons system as it continues in its life cycle. The candidate will help influence the system's maintainability and supportability characteristics, and will develop the understanding and skills required to help perform a: Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis. Candidate will work closely with other Logistics, Engineering, and Program Management entities. Candidate will learn and participate in the development of presentations covering Maintainability and Sustainability. Candidate will gain the skills and talents to begin to develop their abilities to apply standard logistics engineering principles. Candidate must be self-motivated, and understand and exhibit a strong team work ethic and approach.

Basic Qualifications:

BS/BA degree with 0-3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, overhaul, or manufacturing; and understand unit-level maintenance processes and tasks. Current DoD Secret clearance with an active in-scope (background investigation completed within previous six years). Must be able to obtain and maintain all required SAP access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on military aviation maintenance or aircraft manufacturing or overhaul experience, experience in logistics support, with knowledge of multiple aircraft systems such as; airframe, mechanical, electrical, and avionics subsystems is a strong plus.
