Job Summary/Description
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation (NGAS) is seeking a Survivability Antenna Design, Analysis and Integration Lead. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. The qualified applicant will support a diverse Design and Integration team on an Advanced Program within NGAS.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to provide Low Observable (LO) requirements, understand other disciplines' requirements, and develop an optimized solution that meets all disciplines' prioritized needs.
- Lead a team of engineers to successfully develop, analyze, and integrate Survivability Antennas onto a platform to meet the system level requirements.
- Perform Antenna Aperture Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis using tools such as HFSS and 3D method of moments (MoM) codes.
- Provide design, analysis, and engineering oversight to RCS model and antenna test fixture fabrication.
- Oversee RCS testing; perform RCS data post processing and analyze test results.
- Conduct trade studies for antenna apertures and antenna aperture integration approaches, integrate the requirements of all disciplines, collect and analyze data and present results to stakeholders and management.
- Conduct Antenna subsystem RCS roll-up using both analysis and test data.

As an Engineering Lead in the area of LO antenna integration the following skills are anticipated:

- Problem Solving: Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.

Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Work checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of superior.
- Impact: Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives and affect the image of the organization's technological capability.
- Liaison: Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline (STEM) plus a minimum of 14 years applicable experience in survivability related field; or Masters Degree in STEM plus 12 years applicable experience in a Survivability related field; or a PhD Degree in STEM plus a minimum of 9 years of Survivability related experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 2 years experience in survivability design, survivability analysis, integration, and testing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with RCS (Radar Cross Section) data processing tools
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting RCS testing at indoor and outdoor test facilities including data post processing and diagnostic techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in any of the following disciplines: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
- SAP/SAR program access
- Experience with as HFSS and 3D method of moments (MoM) codes
- Experience with RCS data processing tools, such as Knowbell ,Pioneer, and/or SABER
- Computer-aided design (CAD) skills in NX
- Excellent written and verbal communication, mentoring experience, and interpersonal skills.
