Job Description

Northrop Grumman Technical Services is looking for qualified Lead Aircraft Inspector. In this role you will be required to have relevant experience necessary to perform all duties relevant to their chosen skillset on operationally capable aircraft. You will checks, test, and troubleshoot your Subject Matter Expertise for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation as necessary. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 10 years relevant aviation and aerospace industry experience. 8 Years with an Airframe and Power plant License.
  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.
  • Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a minimum Secret Security Clearance.
  • Complete understanding of technical data and blueprints.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be willing to work a schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year. "Able to drive specialty vehicles."

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational experience is preferred over manufacturing or production.
  • An FAA Certificate.
