Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector is seeking an Engineering Test Software Developer Level 4 to join our qualified, diverse engineering team. The candidate should have experience developing, debugging and operating automated test applications in National Instruments' LabVIEW development environment. The selected candidate will support the development of NG Communications, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) Test Sets and will interface directly with test engineers to understand and implement test requirements. Additionally, he/she will be expected to learn and follow internal software development processes to insure reliable/reusable code and provide software design documentation.

The selected applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Avionics and Tactical Networks (ATN) Operating Unit, where our team of communications systems experts is developing next-generation radios for our armed forces, and our Electronic Warfare subject matter experts are creating the next generation of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) countermeasures to keep our soldiers safe when in harm's way.
Avionics and Tactical Networks (ATN) is an operating unit within the Communications business unit of the Airborne C4ISR Systems division of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. ATN is located in the Rancho Carmel facility in San Diego, California.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 7 Years of professional software test development experience with a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering
Specific experience developing, debugging and operating automated test applications in National Instruments' LabVIEW development environment
Familiarity with common RF test equipment (eg. Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope)
Understanding of common communication bus standards such as GPIB, Ethernet and Fiber Channel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have current Secret Clearance (new or re-investigated in the last 4 years)

National Instruments Certification (Associate Developer, Developer, Architect)
