Junior Numerical Control Programmer

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Junior Numerical Control Programmer to join its team. This position is located in Linthicum, Maryland.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Program Numerical Control (CNC) Equipment through the use of computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming tools. Adjust to this function, the NC programmer is required to plan and design the tooling to preform associated NC operations

This is a SEA Union Represented position.
This is a 2nd shift position.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: Certificate in CNC machine programing or Minimum two years college level study with an emphasis in Manufacturing/CNC

Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC Machining Operations and a minimum 3 years in the basic understanding of programing. Must be able to use prior machining and programming experience to develop program, fixtures and processes under some supervision
