JBLM MTC Small Unit Training Manager

The JBLM MTC Small Unit Training Manager supervises all aspects of multiple, geographically-dispersed Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3), Stryker Virtual Trainers, andother low-density training enabler systems. Responsible for graphic terrain modeling in support of desired training locations and scenarios. Verifies units scheduled toattend small unit training and coordinates internally to ensure appropriate staffing at all active training campuses. Coordinates with unit leaders to provide turn-key, low-overhead, innovative training solutions. Leads a team of trainers and technicians who assist leaders (squad throughbattalion level)achieve their training objectives in a virtual environment. Performs other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 20 years military (Army) experience;at least 10 yearsin a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Must possess full understanding ofmounted and dismounted maneuver, fire support, and tactical communications. Possess SECRET clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree, subject immaterial. Recent combat / operational experience is a plus. Combat arms leadership experience, particularly within a STRYKER formation,is preferred.
