Information Sys Tech Analyst 2/3

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Sector, Communications Division, Resilient Network Solutions (RNS) Operating Unit is seeking an Information Systems Technical Analyst to support various RNS programs. The successful candidate must have the ability to solve technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned primarily focused on Linux and VMware ESXi. This analyst will be expected to build, operate, maintain and support the design, development, and testing of program computing assets. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Red Hat Linux and VMware ESXi administration, BIND/DNS management, LDAP administration, backup technology, and network connectivity. Experience with implementation of DoD Cyber Security requirements is highly desired.

The position also requires the ability to support design, development, and testing of Intel based computers as well as troubleshooting BIOS issues, working daily with RAID arrays, cabling, and chassis hardware. A working knowledge of, and experience with Cisco IP networking and general computing is a plus.

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below.

Requisition may be filled as a level 2 or 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university with a minimum of 2 Years related experience; 0 Years with Masters

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university with a minimum of 5 Years related experience;3 Years with Masters

Basic Qualifications for a level 2 or 3:
Experience administering Linux and/or VMware ESXi systems including installation and configuration of the operating system, user administration, backup and restoration, and troubleshooting functional issues.
Operational experience with LDAP, DNS, and database services.
Knowledge of BASH/PERL scripting.
Must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to adapt quickly to change.
Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Eleven years' experience administering Linux and/or VMware ESXi systems.
Experience implementing DoD Cybersecurity requirements.
Experience with Ansible.
Experience with military COMSEC equipment such as High Assurance IP Encryptors (HAIPEs).
Experience with NISPOM (Chapter 8) and/or DCID 6/ICD 503 requirements and classified processing environments and procedures
Possess one or more of the following certifications: Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CASP or CISSP
Experience with 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with aerospace development, production and fielding
Active DoD Secret Clearance
