Industrial Security Analyst 4

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Industrial Security Analyst 4. This position requires both Industrial Security and Cyber Information Assurance abilities.

The selected candidate will administer a restricted program that is geographically separated from the prime location. The candidate will be responsible for administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. The candidate will have compliance oversight responsibilities over supplier locations within a geographic proximity.

The ideal candidate must have a work performance history demonstrating success with the following:

Ability to study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations and customer driven requirements. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts physical security assessments ensuring ICD 705 compliance and following through with the proper offices to correct any deficiencies. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., RMF/JSIG, NISPOM), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities. Perform analysis to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification (Security CE, CAP, or GSLC).
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years security experience; 8 years' experience with a Masters.
  • 2 years of Information Systems Security experience or related field.
  • Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with an ability to be granted Special Access within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and 10 years related experience.
  • 4 years of Information Systems Security experience or related field.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification (CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP CE, or CISSP)
