Industrial Security Analyst 2

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, Ca. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to manage and support Northrop Grumman's Anti-Terrorism (AT) Program in accordance with US Air Force compliance under AFI10-245. In this capacity the selected candidate will assist and advise the Site Security Manager in implementation and maintenance of Air Force AT related doctrine, policy, and standard operating procedures. This will include guidance, recommendation and prioritization of force protection resources and strategies to counter threats and vulnerabilities against AF assets residing within Northrop Grumman leased property on the installation. Provide AT considerations to include real-world and exercise lessons learned and exercise relevant scenarios that will validate the AT program. The position forges close collaborative relationships with government stakeholders and maintains membership on the local Antiterrorism Working Group (TWG), Emergency Management Working Group (EMWG), and Integrated Defense Council (IDC).

The ideal candidate will have prior military or law enforcement experience in counter terrorism prevention and force exercise planning and execution.

Candidate must have strong interpersonal andproject management skills, be detail oriented, well organized, self-starter, able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of responsibilities, sometimes with conflicting priorities and timelines. Candidate must have the ability to prepare reports in a concise manner and have the ability to work with all personnel, government representatives and inspectors in a professional and courteous manner. Candidate must possess an ability to connect to the larger mission and strategy, while integrating into an inclusive work environment characterized by mutual respect, valuing differences and working in a culture of caring, accountability and innovation with a team of employees motivated to perform to the highest levels. Candidate will be expected to perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management. Position requires a current Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience or Masters degree with 1 year experience or a GED/High School Diploma and 7 years of security experience
  • Final DoD Secret clearance required to start
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience in counter terrorism prevention, exercise planning and execution
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice
