This is an excellent opportunity to join our staff in a role that will contribute critical process improvements in all areas of our business.

This position is located in San Diego, Ca.
Implement a program to train and utilize a team of Lean Tool Champions through all stages of the continuous improvement process, from identification of opportunities for improvement to test and evaluate solutions, and improve quality, safety, satisfaction, and financial results

Supporting operating units (OUs) in their Lean Transformation through the implementation of the PES (Lean) System, as the primary resource

Lead organization on strategic deployment and alignment process that results in an improved workforce Implement and improve processes documented in a Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) Roadmap utilizing lean manufacturing concepts and six sigma tools from the 'Toyota Production System' to quickly obtain Cost, Schedule and Quality improvements.

Achieve operational objectives by contributing recommendations and subject matter expertise to strategic action plans and reviews; prepare ng and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality standards; resolve problems; determine system improvements; implement change.

Develop and utilize cascading metrics to assure daily achievement of operations Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employment Engagement and Cost expectations at every level

Required Skills/Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering and 7-10 years' experience applying LEAN principles in high rate and high-mix, low rate manufacturing environments. 5 years supervisory experience in a high rate, LEAN manufacturing environment

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and project management skills

Six Sigma or LEAN Certification

Strong understanding of and experience with implementing: standardized work, Value Stream Mapping (Transformation), process mapping, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SPC, Heijunka, SMED, KanBan, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Five S's, Visual Management, Continuous Improvement Process, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving and AS9100 / ISO 9001

Understanding of financial measurements and goals

Effective presentation skills to share the LEAN/continuous improvement successes and ideas across the BU
