Imagery Analyst 2/3
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an Imagery Analyst 2/3 to support a dynamic and rewarding mission portfolio in our Fairfax, VA office.
The Imagery Analyst 2/3 must have a strong understanding of and experience in imagery analysis, tasking of overhead imagery and imagery exploitation methods. He/she must have a basic understanding of cartographic production and analysis techniques and methods, along with a basic understanding of geospatial feature collection methods. He/she must have experience working with an electronic light table (ELT) application such as Remote View, SocetGXP, or ArcMap. A working knowledge of the management of geospatial datasets is preferred but not required. He/she must be able to thrive in a dynamic team environment and must be able to successfully complete tasks requiring a quick turn-around. We are looking for a self-starter capable of working specific accounts and flexible enough to support planning and analysis in multiple areas of responsibility. Formal imagery analysis training from a DoD or USG is preferred. Imagery analysts experienced in FMV analysis only and without formal imagery analysis training from DoD or USG entity are also welcomed to apply.
This position is located in Fairfax, VA. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.
Basic qualifications for a Level 2 are a Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of professional experience, or a Master's Degree with 0 years of experience. Four years of professional experience may be substituted for a degree.
Basic qualifications for a Level 3 are a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with three (3) years of professional experience. Four years of professional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Proficiency in any of the following tools: RemoteView and/or SOCET GXP, ESRI ArcMap, Google Earth and.or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability and willingness to help others adapt to rapidly changing customer environment
