Human Factors Engineer 3/4

Northrop Grumman is looking for a technical professional to support Human Factors Engineering for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense – Battle Command System (IBCS) program.

The primary task involves applying human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine systems and products to the design of an Engagement Operations Center. Interfaces with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements. Identifies and analyzes technological problems or risks, performs theoretical human factors investigations.

Basic qualifications for a level 3:

BS STEM Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other similar discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Basic qualifications for a level 4:

BS STEM Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other similar discipline with a minimum of 9 years of related experience.

Basic qualifications for a level 3 and 4:

  • Experience using NX Human Modeling tool
  • Intimately familiar with MIL-STD-1472
  • Active/current Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing Engagement Operations Centers and rigid walled shelters
