HR Business Partner Palmdale (Seeking HR Professional with active DOD Clearance)

Provide Human Resources Business Partner support for assigned client groups in Global Operations/Manufacturing and Global Mission Excellence/Quality with approximately 450 employees located across multiple U.S. Northrop Grumman Company sites. Primary responsibilities include partnering with internal client groups to drive improvements in the

organization with the capability to meet financial and strategic goals; implements value-added HR programs and initiatives that drive the business forward. Position requires supporting the client groups with performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward

and recognition, succession planning, organizational and staff development, engagement and inclusion, and change management.

The HRBP assists leaders in driving organizational change, and serves as an advocate for employees. Position requires demonstrated ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization. Acts with sense of urgency, is a self-starter, demonstrated ethics and credibility; results driven. Influencing and consulting skills are critical; business savvy, strong problem solving and analytical skills needed; demonstrated ability to develop solutions to a variety of

problems moderate in scope and complexity and determine best course of action.

The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks/client groups is required. Candidates must be adept at Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors’ Degree

2 years experience in Human Resources as a Generalist

Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Requires ability to have and maintain a DOD clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters’ Degree

3 years experience in Employee, Labor Relations, or Organizational Development

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft

Working knowledge of Taleo

Active Secret Clearance or higher
