HR Business Partner 3

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner 3 to support operating units within the Weapons Systems Operations business unit. This position will be located at our Oklahoma City, OK office but will support a group of employees located throughout the US.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Developing and ensuring execution of HR priorities that align with business objectives while providing value as a business partner to this growing business.
  • The candidate will be an integral partner with the business and will provide leadership and guidance on a variety of initiatives such as compensation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, policy interpretation, and employee development.
  • Facilitate and resolve employee relations issues, identify trends and implement solutions.
  • Team with business development and capture managers to support new business capture efforts.
  • Ensure compliance related to company's policies, procedures, and business conduct as well as state and federal regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years Human Resources experience-OR- Master's with a minimum 4 years Human Resources experience. An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience providing support in multiple HR functions such as employee relations, compensation, performance management and employee development.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and problem solve.
  • Demonstrated superior past performance as a HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience with time and project management.
  • Strong coaching and consulting skills.
  • Strong strategic and process orientation.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a union environment including knowledge of labor relations and union avoidance practices
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation/communication skills.
