Graphic Designer / Videographer
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Graphic Artist/Videographer to join our team of qualified, highly engaged and enthusiastic communications professionals. This position will be located in Falls Church, VA.
Qualified candidates must be prepared to thrive in a highly active environment that demands creativity, collaboration, innovative thinking and use of tools to effectively communicate to employees, leadership and otherinternal stakeholders. Qualified candidates must have at least 6 years of work experience in graphic design and videography, extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office platforms and the ability to work on Mac and PC operating systems.
We are looking for someone to infuse new ideas and techniques into projects and will support the Talent Management and Development team in the development and delivery of employee messages and communications campaigns. Customer satisfaction is a top priority and qualified candidates must have demonstrated experience working multiple projects, performing to tight deadlines, being attentive to details and solid communication, design and time management skills.
Bachelor degree and 6 years of experience in graphic design and videography.
Must be an experienced user of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Must be proficient using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Must have knowledge of file size preparation for large format design and printing.
Must have experience with design and layout of brochures, posters, flyers and other print and digital materials.
Experience coordinating and directing the execution of creative assignments for advertising, news, publicity, and/or technical use
Must have customer service experience and the ability to work independently and also collaboratively on a multimedia team
Project management skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and 2013
Knowledge of HTML
Must have the ability to preflight files for offset printing
Experience with web design
