Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Procurement Analyst for our Grand Sky Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence program. The Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence will be conducting every day GSC activities for the International HALE Global Hawk programs. The candidate will source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies of a moderate to high complexity for multiple programs across various locations of the organization. The following activities will be required:

Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.

Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.

Confer with suppliers and analyze suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.

Prepare and issue requests for quote (RFQ), review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Assist in the preparation of bid packages for Customer proposals.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and three (3) years procurement or related experience; or

Masters Degree 1 year related experience. Four (4) additional years of relative

experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Knowledge of Government procurement (FAR/DFAR) requirements applicable to the defense industry.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP Purchasing Module.

Ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.

Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Ability to work under only general supervision.
