Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer -- Product Support Team Requirements Lead This position will be permanently located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. Successful candidate will be a responsible for working within an integrated product team structure to manage and coordinate system baseline definition and verification through functional architecture and system requirements. This includes requirements development, system analysis, HSI analysis, interface definition, verification and validation, and support of both systems engineering and supplier design reviews. The candidate will help ensure end-to-end oversight of all project technical requirements, key HSI/HFE requirements and threads and review of assessments and engineering designs for compliance with established criteria. Interfacing with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and product support requirements. Identifying and analyzing technological problems or risks. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university with minimum 14 years' experience, or MS with 12 years of experience • The ability to clearly and accurately express engineering findings orally and in written technical reports and presentations to the integrated product team and customer is essential. • Knowledge of MBSE with experience having implemented system architecture definition using UPDM and/or SysML in an MBSE tool such as MagicDraw (Cameo Enterprise Architect), Rhapsody, CORE etc. • Mature requirements definition experience including definition of verification plans • Experience in DOORS requirements management tool • Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a special access clearance Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in CAMEO • Experience in developing ILS Element Requirements • Top Secret security clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
