The GBSD System Control team is looking for a System Engineer to lead the Program Requirements Model. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will be part of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you'll get to do: Serve as the technical authority for MBSE strategy and implementation over the Requirements Model in DOORS Responsible for leadership and oversight of integrated requirements baseline and customer deliveries Would conduct integration readiness reviews with sub-integrated product teams Coordinates across multiple IPTs to ensure development of integrated GBSD requirements baseline at multiple levels of hierarchy Coordinate with sub-integrated product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance Coordinate with integrated product teams for establishing content within DOORS Define and execute model integration processes, tools, and techniques Be key stakeholder in the development and implementation of requirements model governance throughout the GBSD program Engage in formal and informal mentoring to support knowledge transfer and talent development Maintaining quality of product (metrics lead for health of product) As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: - Medical, Dental & Vision coverage - 401k - Educational Assistance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions - Paid Time Off - Health & Wellness Resources - Employee Discounts https://benefits.northropgrumman.com/us/en2/BenefitsOverview/Pages/default.aspx This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 Years with Masters; or 5 Years with PhD 3+ years systems engineering of experience 1+ years of experience with DOORS database toolset 1+ years of experience with DOORS DXL development and database manipulation Experience with standards development Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Must be a U.S. citizen with a current active Secret Clearance or above Preferred qualifications: Experience with model based systems engineering Experience with DoDAF standards and methods Experience with DOORS requirements management and verification Experience with execution of verification for large systems Aware of impact of attributes within requirement model helps support sustainment, manufacturing and productionNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
