Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer with our Space Systems sector located in Ogden and Roy, UT. This position is the lead system engineer for the Physical Security System for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Travel: 25% The successful applicant will: Provide systems engineering, integration, and qualification support to the GBSD Physical Security System (PSS) element development program In addition to inter-team system engineering, interface with other elements and the system and segment level teams Create and maintain SysML and UPDM models in Cameo EA; interface with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers and specialty engineers to capture Launch Systems GBSD structure and behavior using accurate UPDM/SysML representations according to OMG standards Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical, software, and integrated systems Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, and generate acceptance criteria Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements Interface with AF customer As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: - Medical, Dental & Vision coverage - 401k - Educational Assistance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions - Paid Time Off - Health & Wellness Resources - Employee Discounts This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80.
