Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Manager (S03). This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:
The GBSD PM&P Lead is responsible for the GBSD PM&P organization which performs parts, material, and process management for across the Enterprise supporting all Segments. This person is responsible for the selection, qualification, processing, and testing of all PM&P employed to meet mission requirements. The applicant will have a strong background in EEE parts, materials, and assembly processes. This PM&P background is necessary to support design, fabrication, and integration and test (I&T) activities. The PM&P Lead will also support failure investigations and prepare deliverable documentation. In addition to their technical qualifications, the PM&P Lead must possess excellent communication skills as they will be the primary PM&P interface with multiple subcontractors as well as with program and customer management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EEE parts, materials, processes, radiation, and budget management. Familiarity with the integration and test of missiles is also desired. This includes functional management and CAM responsibilities.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science Degree OR higher in Material Science, OR Materials Engineering, OR Chemical Engineering, or closely related technical discipline
- 16 years of experience with a BS Degree, or 14 years of experience with a Master's, or 11 years of experience with a PhD in Material Science, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or closely related technical discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge in parts, materials and process selection, manufacturing support, failure analysis, and processing of materials and processing for space, aircraft, or missile hardware
- Experience with materials qualification of aerospace products
- Experience leading technical teams in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment
- Active Secret clearance with investigation in the last 6 years
- Masters or PhD is preferred.
- Experience managing cost, schedule and performance of technical statement of work
- Experience with personnel development and performance management, including mentoring and development of technical and leadership skills
- Experience in Materials selection for missiles or space environments and fabrication problem solving experience
- Experience with MILCON construction materials selection and testing, Materials Qualification experience
- Strategic Electronic parts Program Experience, TRITON Materials selection experience
- Practical working experience supporting integration and test (I&T) activities for missile systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills of the English language is desired
- Active Top Secret clearance is preferred
