Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD Systems Test Engineer to support the Physical Security Systems team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Developing and coordinating test planning activities, supporting test execution, and managing task schedules.
- Reviewing and evaluating test requirements to insure completeness of test program and adherence to program policies and objectives.
- Performing technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:
This position may be filled at the System Test Engineer or Principal System Test Engineering level.
Basic Qualifications for a System Test Engineer:
- Bachelors of Science degree in a relevant STEM discipline with 2 years of engineering experience; 0 years with a Master's of Science degree in a relevant STEM discipline. An additional 4 years of work experience may be counted in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience creating test plans and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in test execution and troubleshooting efforts
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
Basic Qualifications for a Principal System Test Engineer:
- Bachelors of Science degree in a relevant STEM discipline with 5 years of engineering experience; 3 years with a Master's of Science degree in a relevant STEM discipline; 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of work experience may be counted in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience creating test plans and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in test execution and troubleshooting efforts
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Access Control Systems
- Experience with Physical Security Sensor Systems
- Knowledgeable and/or experience operating in Protection Layers (PL) 1N - 3 environments
- US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance (awarded within the past 6 years)
Travel is expected up to 25% of the time
