Fraud Detection / Law Enforcement Solution Architect

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Fraud Detection / Law Enforcement Solution Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of System Modernization and Services Division's Technology & Engineering organization, in support of Internal Research and Development activities .

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a member of the technical staff, the Analyst will lead the development of solutions. The dynamic and small team environment is great for an independent and flexible self-starter with strong written and verbal skills.

This position is responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of fraud detection systems and law enforcement applications for cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

We're looking for an individual to perform various activities related to fraud analysis and risk identification via complex reporting and data analysis of databases, reports and queries from BI (Business Intelligence) and other tools.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Identifying and facilitating prevention of fraud schemes or scenarios

Developing models that depict or describe historical events and build predictive models for anti-fraud or law enforcement efforts

Supporting and collaborating with research team members to ensure the most current fraud trends and fraud risks are considered.

Analyzing performance for fraud alerting strategies, optimizing alert strategies and recommending new actions

Communicating effectively and efficiently to large audiences and senior leaders

Proactively identifying trends or developments that could materially impact business goals and targets.

Support the pursuit of new business opportunities through customer engagement as a subject matter expert

Support the development of customer proposals and other marketing material.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with 10 years' professional experience in fraud analysis, audit, or complex data analysis in the law enforcement field

Experience in fraud detection or risk assessment

Proficiency in data mining and Pattern Recognition in Large Datasets

Extensive process analysis, evaluation and re-engineering in fraud detection and/or law enforcement activities

Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability of working with multiple levels of management and effectively communicating information to all levels of the organization

Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, determine priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

Experience implementing advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing customer requirements

Ability to prioritize requirements and create conceptual mock-ups

Apply best practices for effective communications and problem-solving

Ability to package and present analytical findings in an insightful and intuitive manner which explains clearly the direction and recommendation of the information
